Academic Committee

To guarantee that SUSAS is a professional, academic and international event, the academic committee is established to offer professional guides and evaluative opinions on various core tasks of the art season. Committee members, domestic and abroad, feature expertise, experiences and influence, and a considerable of them are internationally renowned figures. The committee is comprised of members from multiple disciplines, fully demonstrating SUSAS as a major urban public event that is both professional and open.

Responsibility

The responsibilities of academic committee include: organizing academic committee sessions at each stage where progress, curators and plans are discussed and evaluated; attending forums and seminars during the art season, giving keynote speeches and participating in academic dialogues; attending various key activities during the art season, etc.

Members

The members of academic committee cover about 30 professionals in urban planning, architecture, landscape, public art, communication studies, art criticism, curation, sociology and press. The list is subject to moderate adjustment according to the requirements of each year.
