Shanghai Urban-Space Research

Shanghai Urban-Space Research brings together a number of different angles and new experiments on urban space. Cycling@Shanghai section intends to provide better riding environment for the future of Shanghai by redistribution of public space and concept; Hongkou District waterfront infrastructure renewal plan choses four typical sections along Hongkou waterfront to explore infrastructure regeneration using “landscape planning”concept, basic methods of Landscape Urbanism, to propose renewal strategy of public space formed by infrastructure; These explorations and experiments have expanded the possibility of urban spatial development and constructed a vibrant image of the city future.
