    Exhibition Introduction

The site project embodies eight keywords of the Pujiang First Bay Park -walkway, hydrophilic, ecology, popular science, fashion, Wujing, park and campus – so that it demonstrates all aspects of the dynamic and charming district while introducing the features, transformation and functions of water.

A portfolio of activities will be held: the exhibition “History of Wujing” that promotes and showcases the town; a botanic workshop supported by Shanghai Jiaotong University during which professors lead visitors around the park and talk about what plants are growing there; a historical workshop supported by Shanghai Jiaotong University during which tutors discuss the past and the present of First Bay; a picture book workshop supported by Shanghai Jiaotong University during which children use their creativity to put how they perceive urban waterfronts on paper; a bird observation workshop where tutors lead visitors to know and see birds; a worship on edible water plants where children are taught what tasty vegetables are hidden among the green of First Bay; a water level workshop during which children record how Huangpu River rises and falls, exploring underlying rules; a coca-cola exhibition; a TikTok competition in which vloggers walk along the riverside walkway and shoot short videos to win awards; and a forest-themed ramp show for parents and children.
