Wusong Sub-district, with an area of 7.52 km2, lying at the mid-western part of Baoshan District is filled with historical worker quarters. The aging population and the demands for senior friendly facilities are prominent issues of this area, yet the obsolete facilities and inadequate functions have been translated into a relative lack of activity spaces for younger generations. Therefore, the exhibition focuses on healthy household life and sound public life which call for urgent response. The 15-Minute Life Circle of Wusong Sub-district consists of 7 Cube Tech Park, Sanjiangyi Service Station of Party and Masses’ Affairs, Smart Health Hall, Wusong Library on Qinggang Road, Haibin Senior Home and, among others, Noah Mall.

Curatorial Program

Wall paintings and space transformation add festive flavors to SUSAS. The Wusong Time Art Exhibition offers: sketches and paintings which represent the history and life of the city; oral histories of old workers who devoted their life to Small Third Front projects; and utensils which embody the past years of steel mill workers. A series of community activities such as Healthy Workshop, Family Education and Psychology Seminar, offer insights about elderly healthcare, improve the relationship among family members and promote socialist cultures.
