- The Thematic Exhibition
The venue of the thematic exhibition, Columbia Circle in Xinhua Sub-district, has transformed what was an industrial heritage to a fusional space of working, living and ecological functions through the urban renewal strategies of Shanghai. With its community public spaces and positive atmosphere, Columbia Circle constitutes a vivid example of the 15-minute Community Life Circle.
Centering on the theme of “15-minute Community Life Circle”, the exhibition contains three sections – 15-minute Community Life Circle: People’s City, Community Meta-spaces, and Cell Project: Sub-relationships – which demonstrate the concepts, case projects and scenario experiences of “15-minute Community Life Circle”. Its six community meta-spaces and 7 public artworks fully exhibit the diversity, uniqueness and growth potential of Xinhua Community.

How to Schedule a Visit
- Address of SUSAS 2021 Thematic Exhibition: Columbia Circle (1262 West Yan’an Road, Changning District). For information about the site, please read：“Preview of SUSAS 2021 Thematic Exhibition”.
- You can schedule a visit to the Thematic Exhibition between 10:00 AM, 26/9/2021 and 6:00 PM, 30/11/2021. The exhibition is open to the public at national public holidays and weekends, but closed on all Mondays except for 27/9/2021 and 4/10/2021.
- You can schedule a visit to the Primary Hall or the Secondary Hall which are both open between 10:00 and 18:00 on all opening days except for the day of opening ceremony (25/9).
- Since 0:00, 26/9/2021, you can make an appointment within 14 days before your visit. You can search for the keyword “SUSAS” at Citizens Homepage of Government Online-Offline Shanghai available at Alipay, WeChat or an independent APP; or click on “schedule” at the WeChat Subscription Account of SUSAS, and then jump to the schedule page to place your appointment. You can only place ONE appointment per day per ID card.
- You can only enter the hall if your Shanghai QR code is green; and children must show the family code.
- Please visit the halls at your scheduled hour, otherwise you will not be allowed in. In case of long queueing and overcrowding, it is not recommendable to arrive more than 15 minutes before your scheduled hour.
- During the epidemic period, you must wear a mask throughout your visit and keep at least 1m from the exhibited items. Your body temperature will be tested before you enter the hall, and if it is higher than 37.3℃ or coughing and other alarming symptoms are found, you will not be allowed in.
