Thematic Exhibition

Shanghai Urban Space Art Season 2025 (SUSAS 2025) unfolds under the curatorial theme “Quantum Revival”.
The main exhibition is held on Fuxing Island in Yangpu District, with 16 satellite exhibitions across the city. This year’s edition celebrates the achievements of the Shanghai Quantum City Spatial Innovation Base through a dynamic dialogue between science and art. It also aligns with the city’s “AI+” initiative, driving the growth of emerging industries and the creation of innovative urban spaces.
Fuxing Island, the only true island located within Shanghai’s central districts, has been reserved for strategic future development under Shanghai Master Plan 2017–2035. Inspired by the “quantum city” concept, the island now hosts the Shanghai Quantum City Spatial Innovation Base and will stage SUSAS for three consecutive editions as part of the festival’s long-term plan.
